New around here - I tried using the search tool but it didn't seem to be working for me (bloody macs).

Anyhow I'm looking at getting my first 'tard and have had my keen eye on a KTM 640sm but have noticed they are rare as hens teeth up here in QLD especially ones for sale.

So a 2004 Husaberg FS650 SM with 8,000kms has come up that I'm interested in. I've heard rumours about chronic oil leaks in Husabergs and a few other lingering problems.

I would like to pick your brains about these models and general opinions about ride, handling, power and maintenance.
