Hi guys got some time to post bike pics as i said sold my 640 and went the 690 yes that was 640 on EBAY. So far the DUKE has pro tapers, pazzo shorty levers, bar end mirrors, and a few shinny orange CNC hard parts.Next is a full Akrapovic evolution system but i wont be buying from australia coz they want $5300 for the system, what a joke but lucky for me im of to europe in 5 weeks 1300 EURO much better and i bet there hard parts book has way more goodies than ours.

Bugger off, I have first dibbs. You go stroke your 60 HP yamahahahaha, lol

Nice bike but i still dont quite understand the design

You need to be a fan of all the Duke series. I'd own one of these if it were not for the SMC coming out first and the Duke's underslung exhaust which I'm now getting used to.

Sweet bike dude, nice work. You will find the hardparts catalogue is the same worldwide, sorry to disappoint. The prices OS will be much better though! :)

Noice!!

Those Duke rims would look awesome on the 690SMC I reckon. Does the Duke also have extra power??

The R is a true 690 as opposed to a 654 like all of the previous new generation LC4 motors. They are stroked. Factory claim is 70 horsingpowerz.

And yep, they look sexy on an SMC (Marchesinis with a few more spokes but you get the drift). ;)

Yeh i rode the standerd 690 and when i got the R it was chalk and cheese. The R has so much more punch and with the ECU map set to straight sport its pretty lively and the marchesini's are the best rims iv'e had

The mapping has been improved a heap, the old maps set on position 2 as opposed to position 3 used to be a real pig, the bike stalled all the time and the AFR was all over the shop.

You will find the bike has 2 maps, one for the Electronic Power Throttle (EPT) and the ECU for fuelling.

Considered getting Tuneboy? Good product, just fuck all support....

That SMC I would own, way hotter than the orange.

My 505's a big Kato, so anytime you'd like to line your little CRF up against my Cow I'd be happy to oblige. :butthead:
