If you measure up your axel diameter and spacer sizing I'm sure muzz could tell you based on his....

Yes Ash they go straight in although WRF use an 18" rear. A popular swap amongst the offroad fraternity is to run an 18"rear off WRF on YZ/YZF to make tyre selection and changing offroad easier. I sold my 18"rear to Keg from DBW for that reason,... anyone want a spare 21" Yamaha front with drive for speedo/tripmeter to use offroad? Cheap at half the price!
Although I may attack it with the bolt cutters and fit up another 'funny wheel' :D in 16.5"

I'm thinking of 17's
That's good it will be much easier to find 17 for the four stroke.

Muzz, does the front axle on your bike have an M8 x 1.25 thread to hold the brake line cover in place? Or was your bike the first of the YZ's to have the Honda set up? I just need to get an idea to make sliders.

I think the thread may be M8x 1.25 Ash, and no my bike is an 03 model with the same front end as your YZ. The Honda styled front ends are 05 onwards on Yamahas.
