View Full Version : 2010 National BEARS
After speaking with Gordy i am seriously considering a trip down to broadford for Rd1
wondering who else might be keen? by the looks of things we would be up against bikes in F3.
Rd1 is 20/21 March
can one of the yocals let me know whether the track day before will book out quickly as i may get a spot now if they do.
looking again,
open & thunderbikes & twin sprint?
Yeah fuck it, I'm keen too. Broady is way too awesome a track to pass up. I did my first trackday there :)
Not sure how the money situation will hold up but I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

Whilst not the bears round, I will be trekking down south this year to tick the box on Broadford, the Island etc. And perhaps a week in the Snowys to ride those amazing roads.

It's actually the Vic Titles round one with the BEARS running at the same event in the Thunderbike class.
The Aprilias also qualify for the Twinsprint class, maybe not completely legal due to the power to weight rules but they let me race in it 2 yrs ago. Meaning you'll be able to cross enter 2 classes and get more track time.
There may also be camping at the track if that suits but Melbourne is only an hour further south.
Adam I can't say whether it will book out but I'd say you guys coming all the way would be given preference if you registered your interest early.
Contact details for the event race secretary.

.
SXV's will be F3, most other motards will be F5, like Husabergs, KTM's, husky's etc.
Have fun.

Jeff Ware was the man to beat last year in F3 on a rs250 with a 550 SXV engine shoved into it. Fast little jigger!!!

Dave, I think you need to post some pics of that little beast. I saw the start of the build in Rapid bikes mag.
