ive already annoyed the chairman via phone
he says to contact MA cuz all their stuff is CAMS :(
and that there are no bikes that race at their events. only bike engined cars that obviously win everything :D

Do you know of the hill climb track in Dapto?

There is a few tracks around that hold reasonably regular hillclimb events open to bikes.
There is an annual at Collingsgrove in SA and a couple here closer to Melbourne
Rob Roy at Templestowe and the old Gippsland park now Haunted Hills a few of us threw a few laps down on early in 2009
That has not been shelved and is on the agenda for the SSSM to persue vigorously.
There is the Mt Buller sprint and I am working on getting a couple of bikes up there this year abeit in even an 'exhibition - non timed' standing.
Formula Extreme promoter Terry O' Neill has also been approached regards competition along these lines
Remember the sprints concept?

Beat me to it. Its a 2min ride from my house. The track is a bit rundown at the moment and has a bit of moss on it. I'm no expert racer but it just doesn't feel right going up there. And the return road usually has cows on it.
