They wont be much more than the enduro ones which are $199.
My guestimate after talking to the importer today is about $250-$299.
The brackets are billet too and if they are the same price as the enduro brackets which are $149.
They are due in August, I ordered one today. :)
I'll post when I get it.

Its not the all-singing-all-dancing version with its derived dyno function etc etc though...

Sibbo

That's not the flashy Veypor - doessn't even look like it. Just a brand name knockoff or el cheapo version. Compare the look of the one on the trailtech website with the 'real' one from the Veypor website (www.veypor.com). The 'real' one has all sorts of internal dyno and data logging functionality that the trailtech one doesn't. The trailtech one is spelt just differently (vapor compared to veypor) enough to get around copywrite issues no doubt.

Well I was misinformed from the very begining. There is another manufacture. Thats why I was confused!!!

The Veypor has lots of stuff you really dont need, like 1/4 data logging stuff. Who cares about 1/4 times?

It also does stuff like compute a theoretical dyno reading for you based on acceleration info and weight, gearing, etc. Sure you might never use it, but geez you could crap on to people for hours about everything which it does :lol2:

Id rather spend the extra $ on rear guards and get the simple trailtech jobbie.

May as well just go for the endurance then if you don't need the RPM bit

Tom

RPM would be nice, and a permanent back light, but don't need the rest of the stuff.

Damn, I wish you hadn't shown me that Veypor VR2, there goes another weeks wages. Bugger.
The inner geek came out in me when I found out I could usb it to my pc, lol.

Hey, don't forget about the heads up display! :lol2:

nah, they can keep the HUD. I just want a bar graph tacho I can see from my periferal, so I can 'care' for my engine. :)
The billet bracket looks enticing for the Veypor for longevity. Unfortunately it means you can't remove it from the bike readily which makes the plugging it into a PC that bit harder and more stuffing about.
I'll start a thread with the installation etc when I get it.....
