For your interest, we as a web prescence, www.vsmr.net recieved over 3000 hits over the weekend. Not bad for a site that has been only formulated and hosted for 3 and a half weeks! :D
More rides for the masses, more venues for track riding, bring it all on! :chainsaw:

Not bad for the first month .... and we've only used about 4% of our bandwidth allowance, so we've got plenty of room for expansion 8)

Busiest day so far 8/2/05, 2180 hits!
Maybe we should look at further development of the site?

And remember, you guys have got more reason to ride than type, so if statistically things dont speak volumes, thats probably cos your riding. :? Over here in the wetlands, well, we type like we know, but I can tell you first hand, in the YooKay very few bikers can walk the type...

Big up to the site, its a good'n...

Something to look forward to isn't it! Nice weather and the availability to ride your bike pretty well whenever and wherever you like. :D

hmm...
I was thinking about this the other day
we have lots of people who have registered, quite a lot of site visits, but still only a few that post.

what can we do to get the lurkers active?
some planned rides that actually happen might be a good start
more technical info, although i think we have a decent start there

<I'll probably still not turn up>

I agree with the bit about the few that post, and the volume of registered members, and I am at loss as to why others dont post or seem to be active.
Maybe they consider we all talk shit or something?
I am keen as mustard to get downloadable video that its street orientated and that we have produced, that takes it to them. The exhilaration factor will bring them out when they see what they miss on the rides that do eventuate...
Ash and I had a real good squirt that ran across 3 suburbs, in some real twisty flip/flop stuff the last ride, that would have been very good footage shot with helmet cam.
The next ride will be posted in advance and we will be going into an industrial estate to video tape some sideways/one wheel action, and anywhere that looks like it may lend itself to a bit of motard action from there. It would be good to be able to capture a few of us in a group doing wheelstands over an overpass from underneath. (See Supermotard Code of Conduct).

Another month goes by with 20,287 hits. We now have 112 registered users, but still only a few active posters/riders. The weather wont hold out for long so come on you blokes/girls get active! :D

8200 hits on the 11th August...
Mmmm.
Always when there is a contentious issue or an event happening the figures are up, yet this is not reflected in ride numbers or actively posting members of the forums.
Obviously there are a lot of unregistered surfers having a geek,
But if your registered and have an interest why not come and join in on the rides to also boost the public profile?
Likewise, attend the social get togethers and outtings such as the GPTC this weekend?
You dont have to have a motard bike, we will let anyone join in, so long as you dont ask 'Why have you got them funny wheels?'

This Friday night/Early Saturday morning should see the site reach 1,000,000 hits.
A good time to say Thankyou to Neil and Dicky for the Web Admistration and site update/maintenance.
For those like me who are not employed within the I.T fields, or are not that computer savvy, it is quite time consuming for me just to respond to the volume of PM's I get regarding all sorts of motard and associated bike issues as these blokes do, let alone do the web admin as well.
It is a task well done boys.
Thanks :D
