Brilliant pics !!!!

Out of interest, did you take them on a slr camera?

I have a normal digital lumix camera, but was hard to take good pics at oran pk on the weekend. Am thinking a slr can take more pics per second and would have better zoom etc.

Thanks David, glad you like 'em.

Yeah used a Pentax DSLR and a fast 70-200 lens. Being out on the track in amongst it helps too, tho the ears were ringing just a bit by the end of it :p

cheers, Flash

need to get my post count up to 15 so I can get a damn sig,... so unashamed selfish plug here.

I shoot bike racing as a hobby and sell the images to riders mainly, and anyone that wants to buy them.

I have about 250 photos from the Nationals on my website, and about another 750 from the weekend.

Feel free to have a look http://www.flashpixx.net/

Send me a PM if you want to know more.

cheers, Flash

PS I'm not a spammer  - I frequent Perth Street Bikes http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/forum/ and am an accredited Photographer with Motorcycle Racing Club of WA, and the Historic Road Racing Club of WA and did the World Superbikes in March this year.

Hey Marty, love the shot of me on the CRF. It really shows how you can weight the pegs when you dont have to use a rear brake pedal. The knee sliders still crack me up :p Love to see some more cause that shot is a blinder. Top work

Is there a rear brake pedal on the CRF No.3, can't seem to see it in the pic!

Maestro runs a CLAKE hand operated rear brake/clutch combo.

is that common? pros and cons?

Not that common as it costs a bit of money (approx $1000) and most people can't see the benefit.

I don't think there are any cons apart from the cost and a little bit of added complexity - cable clutch needs to be converted to hydraulic but parts are supplied.

Pros - Allows you to use the rear brake whenever you need to, allows you to put your feet on the pegs without having to worry about trying to reach the rear brake.

I think they are a great idea and they work well in practice.

+1 Just check out the pic of Webby on bike 120 and look how he has to use the rear brake. He hasnt even got his foot on the peg. You basically got to lift your foot up off the peg so your toe can reach the lever. If you adjust the lever to suit the seated position you have real trouble reaching it when standing in the dirt sections. With the hand control its easy to use standing, sitting, turning left or right. Anyone on here that does trackdays on a roadbike will know how hard it is to efficiently use the rear brake deep into left or right handers. I have one on my Moriwaki 250 as well and they are awesome. Check out their Clake website, theres heaps of info there

I've got one. The feel you get with it is nothing like the foot brake either.

Only down sides so far is fiddling to get it set up to start with, and it's harder to go back and forth between more brake/less clutch more clutch/less brake on the fly. Having said that, there have only been pluses to the way I ride.

KTM. It's ace for dirt track and MX. Tight berms are a breeze in particular, brake slide no stall ever, drop clutch and brake together to power out.
