Who does wheel work in Melbourne?
I know nmilne had some bloke do some work form him, but dunno who it was.
All I need at present is some dings taken out of a front rim and checked for true, but I may soon need a rim laced to a hub as well.

If you are going to bash them out yourself I'll let you do mine as well, but only after you have practiced on yours ;)

Same problem on the front, from over jumping doubles. Two strokes have too much power, even when short shifting!!

Ash, u r our test mule.

Hey what's up with those 2 doubles at Nunnawading they have unreal upramps but the landings are to close. You could almost quad them

I got my work done by lightfoot engineering in mont albert, just in behind mick hone (bloke works from home in his garage workshop). Good bloke, he charges a bit for his work, but really knows his stuff. I might mention that he also stuck my hotcams exhaust cam in his lathe and took some material off the locator as I had an interference fit initially, so you can see I trust him with some decent work

Other than that (the late) Bob Martin will roll a rim for you no probs, and he's pretty well priced but down in ferntree gulley. Quite a few bike shops do re-lacing as well, Scotty's dirt bike spares in Ringwood certainly do, and scotty is a top bloke as well  Tell him I sent you and he'll charge you a bit extra

Thanks mate, I'll have a ring around tomorrow.
Got a 21" wheel in the boot of the car, getting ready for another big desert ride.

I know. You come out of that right hander to the first mound (used to be a double) and the back wheel somtimes touches the landing ramp, but you mostly over jump it. Then you keep the same speed for ages and give a quick blip on the up ramp. And repeat the procedure, possible slowing a bit for the second double. They need to bring the second double closer in and turn it into a triple!!!! :D

Lets get on the track design committe and turn it into a proper supercross track....and ban 4 strokes

I'll second that.
He built me up some wheels from stock Yamaha hubs with excels and stainless spokes. The back had a big offset, I gave him bare rims and he drilled them accordingly. He know's his shit. He even bought the nasty dirt rims off me. :)
From memory his name is Mark....
