I'll be there. Doing the track day too.
I'm booked in for the trackday. No doubt I'll race too, got to understand how the new forks and brakes work before NZ.

I'm doing the track day, but wont be racing this one. No point seeing as I didn't do the other rounds and I don't feel like sleeping in the car for the weekend
i spoke to gordy and we were talking about camping at the track.
I won't be doing it, but I better put your clutch back in !

I'll be there for the track day, not sure about the weekend though.
So very tired but for me it went like this:
Trackday - Slower than my PB but quicker than the other motards.
Qualifying - Rubbish 1.2 seconds off my PB, although everyone was a bit slower. Front row, Grid Position 4 (My fave spot)
Racing -
R1 missed the lights, dropped back to 6th by turn 4, made up one place on L2 then Maico graciously waved me through so I could try and catch the superfast 490 Hondas. made up some ground but not enough laps left so finished 4th :(
R2 got a good start but grabbed a bit too much front brake trying to avoid another rider which resulted in a lowside and slide across the track with 9 bikes behind me. Ruined Maico's race as he ran off trying to avoid me. I wasn't too happy about wrecking another helmet. :(
With some help we got the handlebars straight and did a few other things, bike and rider cleared to race again.
R3 Got a good start, ran around in 3rd most of the race apart from half a lap in 4th due to a hamfooted gearchange. 2nd place rider lowsided on the exit of T1 and I ran off track trying to avoid him, 4th place nipped though and I cruised to finish in 3rd.
R4 3rd into T1 and that's where I stayed all race, P2 rider was riding very well, I was generally carrying more corner speed but couldn't find a way round. I was hoping I would pressure him into making a mistake again but he was too good for me.
Obviously a DNF didn't help my points for the round and I am disappointed about crashing (again!) but my laptimes improved and I was consistently the second fasted out there behind Magee so there were some positives from the weekend.
Big thanks to Sporties and all of the volunteers for a great meeting. Good to see some new faces racing and it was great to see Maico out there on the RD400 Hysterical showing up the CBR250's

Had a great weekend apart from falling off and making a mess of my Yamaha.
I got it all fixed up and back on the track then ran the bike in the naked class.
No numbers, no nothing.
Still had a ball racing with the 250 4 strokes.
Had a good weekend on the motard apart from Paul wrecking my brake pedal with his helmet;););).
I think we need to get a vets motard race as these young guns are getting too fast :D:D:D
Thanks to Paul and Tom for being my push starters all weekend.
Hopefully I can get my bike all fixed up and looking pretty again for the next race.

Great race report Paul, you sure did challenge those Onda's.
I had fun at the track day, improved on my times once again.
The racing was great as usual, motards the best of course. Flagged at point 4 and 8 both days, took some pics on my new u-beaut phone I thought, but none there now, damn.
