Hi Guys,

I've just bought a '97 KLX300 and am going to motard it and use it for commuting. I want cheap rego (NSW gotta be under 300cc) and couldn't imagine riding a GPX or CBR 250 when I could start the day by wheelstanding up the street every morning. :)

I'm looking for a digital speedo. Looking on the web the Trailtechs seem to have really small displays. I've seen mentions in the forums of using KTM and Husky units, can anyone suggest what models?

I'm not looking for anything fancy. Just want a decent size display and a resetable trip meter so I know when I'm about to run out of fuel. :)

Thanks,
Steve.

Don't know about the others but my Husky speedo isn't working. Just as well I know how far it it to work

Try a push bike speedo/computer. I have a few one of which has been on 2 Down hill bikes and is still going strong and believe me there is no greater punisment than on a DH bike!! It was a cat eye by the way.

I've got a trailtech on the drz and its allright, but then again I used a bracket to mount it quite a bit closer to the rider to make it easier to see. Doesn't really do anything that a good pushbike speedo doesn't though.

I got a $35 cateye pushbike speedo on my bike. Seems to work just fine, although it's a bit dark at night times :)
