OK, I'll be back in town early Sat morning, out at Calder with the KTM shortly after that.
What's the go once I get to the track?
It's been many years since I was forced to attend Calder, maybe it has changed for the better.
Do I wander around aimlessly looking for a buch of likely suspects or is there something I should know?
I'll bring the bike, myself, my camera and a seat if I can tie it to the bike.
Anything else needed?
dicky.

Pass, As at this post there has been no response to the emails I have sent to him regarding site layout etc. and entry detail for the vans and bikes. I expect that I will hear from him tonight or tomorrow so until then just make sure you have everything you need for a day at the track. I will ring Rick tomorrow if I havent heard anything by 3pm and fill you all in tomorrow night. For those not coming for pizza and Bs, Neil or Ash will put up a late post tomorrow nightwith all we know.
Dicky, you can just come in when you get there and tell whoever is on the gate you are with our display unless there is specific detail for you on the late post.
Chairs, friggin Chairs! Yep got them, Only one elcheapo gazebo though better than none.
A pair of Distanzias, some barkbusters, a second hand Avon (for shredding if the opportunity arrives) a couple of headlight nacelles for Sibbo to choose from, a new WRF stock pipe, my wifes electric grill, kettlesand coffee/tea/sugar, esky, and will have either the hotdog maker or just snags in bread for a snack to save a quid, some soft drink, and God knows probably heaps more, like shirts and hats for those who ordered them! :?

Well, from my perpsective the day was a reasonable success, given the parametres to work within. Disappointing at the lack of power for various appliances and P.C/Screen. Good turnout from our point of view and good to be able to put faces to the names. For those I have known for a while but haven't had contact with it was good to rekindle associations... There is a general movement towards us as an entity VSMR attempting track time on a regular basis and discussions through the active members of VSMR is continuing with the prospect of several kart club presentations soon... Was rumuored Saturday that the Summer Series for Victoria has been once again abandonded... Ashley (Flash) is working on the bike preparation (Sliders kit and catch bottling) side of the kart club approach and as the modifications he is making to his Husky progress we will keep you posted. The kit he is making up for his own bike is steered at maximum protection for the Kart clubs interests initially, (surface damage) along with the obvious. This seems to be one of the most spoken of obstacle to getting track time... Discussion seems to centre on a non competition track/riding day which from my angle is a good foot in the door as opposed to an approach for a race meeting. If we were able to do so for a couple of track days, be recognised as a individual entity in the Supermotard/Supermoto arena, and come through with goods in the professionalism stakes we will succeed where others have failed miserably...All in all a real good day with prospects for the future that weren't there on Friday night!...
