My 25 year old daughter in SA is pregnant again and Tania was intending to continue on to see her.
Plans changed and Tania is now flying over to attend a scan with her

Accordingly I cant afford the jet fuel and the hillclimb costs :(

that was an excellent, heaps of fun it took me ages so get sorted and by the time I did I was out of runs but I got the one fast one now all I want to do is go back there and do more.
Of all the tracks Ive rode this year this would have to be by far the most rewarding to get right.
I got some vids of early runs Ill post up soon :D
go the Yamaha's 1,2,3,5,6 :) and yes I used my pit bike also and wow was it slow I thought it would be tight enough to have some fun but I forgot how gutless the pitty is-I only had to back off for the right hand hairpin :P

on the 3rd run I tried using the traction map on my vortex to try and keep the front wheel down (worst idea ever) it was crap and thats why it sounds, looks so crap, because it is :)

Good to see not even a second covered the top 5 bikes (4 Tards and the Trump) and Tim has it right when he says just when ya think ya have it right, the day is over.
Could spend all day up there perfecting that one.:D

Oh yea, sorry to dissapoint KTM39 but I reckon ya thinking of the wrong Metcalf, I'm the one that makes the good guys look bad, but inturn they make me look good!
But what the heck, i'll take the cred anyway!

Next year I'll have my CR500 hunge back up the hill with it jemmied in an AF 250 frame so jobs on fellas, someones gotta keep Stretch off the hill.

Bit of a bummer with all the timing stuff ups but a few got extra runs (practice!), Sporting Car Club have promised better for next year = more runs.

I think I've seen somewhere that there is a similar hill climb in Vic using public roads though?
Maybee Falls Creek or Hotham.
I'll see if I can find info on it again.

Dumprun - are we talking about the Metcalf brothers, (one of which was racing in AMA, last I heard)?

If so, any one of you rides rings around me and most others I know on a motocross track.

I remember being a flag marshall when I had a broken arm at the King of the Gulf a few years back, watching one of the Metcalfs racing for Honda Australia. It was awesome. His wheels were barely touching the ground coming into the turn where I was standing and he made a double out of 2 singles. One of the club officials had to ask him not to double it so MSA wouldn't make them fill it in!
