Hey Boys just wondering if theres any supermoto riders (street or otherwise) in Newcastle? Iv only seen a couple around. Im on an Aprilia 550. If anyones keen to meet and go for a ride write me a PM and we'll get somethin organised, cheers

Think there is a couple of newcastle riders on here and sure they will chim in soon.
Several from sydney thou.

Post your ride up in the 'Organise a ride' section or were possible jump on one of the rides
thats organised ...

Only just noticed this, in Waratah myself mate! Will shoot you a pm, bike currently having electricals fixed (almost finished with them, hopefully in next few hours will be done) but after that would be super keen whenever really, bloody nice weather for it!

Shultram, I'm currently in Melb but about to move to Newcastle area. Have a 690E Motard, will be in Newy from about mid November - hope to go on some rides then.

my big brother lives in newcastle. he has a wrf 450 that is still on its original tyres. even though its about 4 years old. can you guys go and rip around his place a few times? he lives out in marylands. he says that he has no one to ride with but i say he is a tight arse and doesnt want to get out on his bike.

Yeah SHULTRAM. I live in Raymond Terrace. I've got a KTM 450 exc-r 2008.Finished the change over a couple of weeks ago so you will see me around (black and white with orange front gaurd). Always keen for a ride fridays or saturdays. Where do you ride at? Lambs Valley is my favorite spot (profile pic)

haha yea for sure i might have room on the trailer for him and ill help him sort out sliders. you should see the ones im makin now brembo. what sort of tires should i get btw? or will my streetys be ok?

Any tyres are ok as long as they are safe (this will be checked in scrutineering), just ride within the limits. Some run slicks, some SM spec road legal tyres, others SS tyres. A few guys have rocked up at ECK with commuting tyres and still have fun. That said stickier the better.

Hey B Rad. welcome to supermotoaus. You'll love your WR 450 rollin' on 17's, it will be heaps of fun. Mate there are a few riders in Newcastle area put a post in the organised ride forum when your keen to go. I'd like to but I need to change my bike from road rego to race ready for up coming races

Yeah cheers Locks. I did already meet a guy over argey way on a tarded DRZ400. He was the guy that told me about this site actually. Pretty keen to get the 17's on it but having a blast as is anyway. I'll stick the gopro on it for an up coming ride and post it up.

This exact one I think Wingy. I got LED indicators too and a LED relay but for some reason they just wont work.

Currently riding a KLX400 converted to motard, normally kicking around the Maitland area and surrounds.

Gday mate, welcome to supermotoaus. I dont ride on the road any more. My bike is now un regoed and is not realy street legal any more. I've taken all the road gear off and can't be bothered putting it back on.
If you are interested in track days I will contact you. There are some track days coming up at Port Macquarie and Eastern Creek if your interested
If you see a matt black Vito with a NSWSMR Club decal on the back come and say hi or wave or something.

G'day folks I'm in Morisset at the moment. I've got a 2011 Speed Triple, GSXR race bike & am buying an 97 XR 400R in the next few weeks with plans to Tard it. No doubt I''ll be picking your brains for set up help. I'll post up when I've got her in me shed & ready to pull her down.
