If any one is keen to join me on parts of the ride or can recommend good places to stay at corryong or myrtleford. Let me know.
I cannot join you on any part but... take it easy and have a safe trip. As safe as you can without hurting yourself!!

Send me the new av wobbs.
Coryong doesn't have much in the way of great accom, I've stayed in a motel there and it was ... well, a room anyway. The pub in Tintaldra is much nicer, although the cabins last time I stayed there were fairly spartan. Just beware of weathered old trollops trying to pick you up in the front bar!
Pity you couldn't get down to the spurs on the sunday, as that would probably let a few of the fellas get out 8)

Give me a ring if you like Wobb on Sunday morning.
I am not that far from Bright etc... and would be up for a ride through the hills if you want the company...

I am assuming you are going from Jamo to Woods point via the Jamo Eildon road. The first part of this is a hill climb race track!!! Stay there for at least 10 passes, or you will  .
You start at the Jamo pub (have their Pale Ale :drinkers: ) and go to the second lookout (the big one). As after that the road is not as perfect. Latter on it turns to deep gravel. Also the road that comes off the Jamo Eildon road to Cumberland Junction (the top of reefton) is rocky. Not little rocks, the road is in places full sheets of bare rock. There could be a lot of time on the pegs giving the suspension a good workout.
Its a fun ride. Enjoy.

You still riding down the same route?
If you are looking to get from Jamieson to the Reefton Spur(t) then the Jamieson - Eildon rd is a good option. Great hillclimb as Sibbo mentioned, then reasonable gravel (I ride my aprilia on it, but I might be nuts?), then more good tar until then Eildon end (fuel available in town).
Not far to ride through Thornton, Taggerty and Buxton to Marysville and your there.
It'd be quicker than going via Woods Point, but if you're riding the Adv I don't really suppose it matters any more.
There may be an AT ride with some of the BARC crew while you're in town. I know Tom & Andi quite well, we might be able to arrange something.

Sorry I didn't call you muzz. But with the way the weather was in Bright last night and this morning I didn't think you would be up for a ride.
I left Bright and headed straight for the hume, soaked through from all the rain

As is nearly always the case when I try to plan for rides, work has intervened and I am off to sunny Perth(ish) for a week, leaving tomorrow.
At least it's warm and sunny over there.

No its near Benalla.
I was playing out near the you yangs today though.
I tried to go for a fang throught the brisbane ranges but its all closed off because of fires
If you took the Adventure down there you should go for a ride out at the Otways. I cannot remember the name of the track but it was the main one from one end to the other in (The Triplet falls area - sorry it has been 10 + years). Anyway it is well worth the ride if you are so inclined. I can find out the exact road if you like.
Cheers
