Hi Guys, I'm sure many of you victorians would already be aware of this but There is a track day and race school run by Preston Mcc on Aug 15.
I've been going to these for the last couple of years and they are great fun.
Much more relaxed than the champions days and they seem to be a bit more motard friendly.
I think the price is similar to a champions day but with the added option of attending the race school.
Anyone else thinking of going to this one?

Ok I've spoken to both the Interclub organiser and Preston MCC about whether or not they're doing a combined entry for both days and they are not.
This Funday/Race school event is being run separately to the Interclub day on the the Sunday 16th.
So entry to this for anyone is $180 and includes PrestonMCC annual membership(which gives you qualification for the Interclub Series), a one day race license and entry to the event.
The Interclub Round 3 the next day is $140 plus one day license if you don't have one of $45.(late entry is an extra $50 ie. pay on the day)
For those who are members of the other Interclubs the Funday/Race school will be around $130 for Round 3 on Sunday as per above cost.
It basically allows Preston to gain more memberships while providing a trackday for their club members.
I will be at the Interclub Round 3 on Sunday 16th August. If you would like to join myself and G-man join the Harley Club of Vic for $40 annually (Preston is $55) and buy a one event license on the day and get in on the fun!!!! :D

KTM 950SM.
I'm still very new to the bike, so I have a lot to learn about it. Brilliant fun so far but there's obviously so much more it could do with the right pilot.
What will you be riding there riffler?

Well, I had a bunch of fun on the Saturday. Got to meet Sam from here? Shame about the SXV man, but at least the KTM was out in style.
It was my first time to a track and a pretty good introduction I think. Not too much in the way of instruction and theory, just a couple of pointers and we were out there. From the first wobbly lap I got progressively smoother as the day went on.
The one thing that was missing was a bunch of motards! I only saw 2, a drz400 of some visitor and a racey looking thing stashed in a trailer.
Anyone report on how the Sunday went?

Was good to meet you Owenbutler,
Looked like you guys were having a great time on the track!
Wish my sxv was there:(
Hopefully i'll see you at the next one..or sooner, perhaps a champions day.
I think the sunday was cancelled unfortunately.
The weather was looking pretty grim and i believe it was a washout on the day.

I didn't turn up for Sundays racing, just as well, it would have been terrible.
