G'day,
Anybody from Sydney keen for a ride out to Oran park on the 11th of Feb for the Supermoto round 2. Should be day/night (goes till late). Usually $20 (The website says it's still at newcastle but AUS Motorcycle showed it updated as Oran park 11th and Eastern Creek Go kart track 12). Meeting a friend from Wollongong somewhere south, so if anybody from Wollongong is keen to go too, let me know.

ahhh cancel that... it is at newcastle, i just got an email from Mark Avard....
sooo... anybody want to ride to newcastle? ......
probably not as enjoyable as a ride to oran park.....
Possibly...will see how work pans out around there ;)
I think i'm going but can't plan anything yet. . . holidaying in Thailand at the moment.
will post up plans when i get back.

thinking about going up the pacific highway through mooney mooney creek and then on the F3 the rest of the way.... lots of bends....
i'm probably gonna stay for both days as have some work mates who said I could crash and then head out to the duck's nuts... not likely... (worst pub in newcastle) or the crown and anchor, locals call it the cranchor.....
the track looks good though.. .compared to the eastern creek go kart track.....

thats nice come all the way over here and dont drop by for a drink or 8 ,where are you staying ? the asian 4 day enduro is on in pattaya at the moment .
on another note on the way back from newcastle after the last round in 05 we went another way back to sydney where we had to follow the river through the montains and go on a ferry ,they where some of the best supermoto roads i have seen ,i cant remember the name of the road as i was driving a mates GTS and it was raining we had it sideways on every corner as im not a aus resident and only have a thai international licence i drove it like i stole it if some dirty copper had of picked me up he could kiss my arse ,i had nearly as much fun driving home than i did racing :D

Sorry shane, forgot you were over here. This trip is with the family anyway, so it's been pretty tame (most of the time anyway).I'm in Krabi at the moment, but head back to Sydney early Thursday morning.
I'll be back over here later in the year anyway, Next time coming over with some mates to get into some trouble. I'll plan to meet up on that trip, and i'm sure we can do better than 8 beers :partyman: .

i was talking about frosty frozen marguaritas from the local mexican and if you can get down that many i am not coming out with you and your mates as you must pure pro's :D :D
