Ok folks, after much ass ramming I think the gallery should be back to working now, more or less. It's not really fixed properly, but basically I've scotch tape'd it up well enough for the time being. There are still some underlying problems thanks to our glorious hosting provider, but they are apparently going to make yet more changes so I'm going to wait until that's done to fix it for good. In fact to fix it for good I'm going to upgrade to the latest gallery version, so that's the next little project.

Basically I had to work out what the problem was all by my self with little or no support from the host's tech support (in fact they caused me quite a bit of aggrevation). So, as a result, I'm going to look around for another host to switch to, hopefully with even more disk space and bandwidth, as we are starting to push both on our current provider. However, I'm hoping we can get the rest of our contract from the current provider (through the end of this year) as I'd rather not spend the cash on a new provider while still locked into the remainder of the current one.

But, long story short, should work fine now, but let me know of any problems you have ... remember there are some security rules, so not everyone can go about and set up new folders, but you should be able to add stuff to the general folders etc...
