Can anyone give me some info about supermoto in australia. i am wanting to possibly come there and race in 2006. :up:

Supermoto/Supermotard is still a burgeoning sport in Australia and although we have several promoters bringing events throughout 2005/6 its probably too early to tell how much bang you'll get for your buck racing wise. It would have to be planned very well and your logistics needs to be cool too, as there are long distances between events....If you would like to come here and win a small fortune, come over with a large fortune to start with! :shock:

so you are saying its not worth my time and money to come to australia, well i was thinking it might be a good way to promote my business. I am an independent dealer for AMSOIL synthetic lubricants, I was thinking about coming over there and putiing the oils in alot of the m/c shops. also i need some independent dealers there, anyone interested? let me know, and ill send you the info.

JR, Please dont think that I am saying dont come and race our series, nor bring your business interest. I mean only that the logistics of transporting race bikes is expensive in Australia and those type of things you need to factor in. Long distances between rounds that are close together on the calendar. I personally would like to be in Thailand next year as it too would be advantageous to my core business that is now motorcycle manufacture. Speaking business, Of course I am interested in a Distributorship, but only on a contractual monopoly of such for Australia and New Zealand in any instance...Are you still there JR? :D P.M. me for further contact details...
