I have been busy over the Christmas break trying to get some sort of plan together for a gathering of Motards, from as far as they would like to travel, to be held up here in Wangaratta as a base, over the Labour Day long weekend.
The plan is to profile motards in general by large numbers on rides around the High Country both on and offroad.
Several dealers here have expressed interest as they carry the Factory offerings in both Husaberg/KTM and Suzuki.
The local radio station is also a target to get the word out leading up to and during the event...
As the New Year break passes I will be able to get some more admin done as most of the folks I need to speak with are holidaying until the second week..

I am riding down to Geelong sometime in march from Nowra and maybe able to fit this in.

You may have trouble getting NSW riders down, if it's 11-13 March you're talking about, that's a double round of the aus supermoto saturday is round 2 at Oran park and Sunday is round 3 at eastern creek (i think. . .).

I don't think we get the public holiday up here either (Bugger).

Sounds like a top idea though.

Never mind, Its only in the planning stage yet anyway, I have to get a lot of finer details sorted before I can proceed with an advertising campaign to promote the event...
