Meeting time and place: 8am at McGrath's Hill maccas.

From the end of the planned route at Bucketty, we can come home via the Putty (awesome) the Old Pac Hwy (less awesome, but still awesome) or the Spencer Rd (awesome).
No gap between fuel will be more than about 80km or so. If need be I can carry 2L spare for the Ape's...

You will need to HTFU for this ride.
The road from Sackville to Wisemans is very tight and probably the most dangerous road I know. But it is so fucking awesome.
The road from St Albans to Bucketty is dirt, smooth flat dirt. You ride a motard so this shouldn't trouble you at all.

I would love too but after i re geared the SXV for the track no way will i make the stints between fuel even with my spare 2 litres...

The rd you speak of is that the dog track we went down last time from Wisemans?

Yeah, the narrow winding road is the one I'm going to do again.

Bent lever and scuffed leathers only

A mate of mine lowsided a VFR800 in a similar manner - $5500 damage

Motards are awesome 8)

So...

The PC version:
I was doing some self-guided advance motorcycle training in a safe environment and exceeded my skill level.
The Gonzo version:
On an empty road, I was practicing some knee down action. And I pushed it too much.

Out riding as we were, we got to a corner that a mate and I are known for shenanigans on (see link (http://www.twowheels.com.au/forums2/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=20188)).
We stopped for a break, and I decided to do a bit of practicing.
Cranked right over at about 60, hit a pot hole and went down.I knew the hole was there and even said to Pete just before it happened "If I stack it when I hit that pothole, don't laugh at me"

Few scuff marks and a bent gear lever. No biggie - I'll probably try it again next time I am out there.

So anyway, this is what I thought it would look like:

But this is what it actually was (mid slide at this point):

Scrape marks:

Damage - scuffed left knee on the leathers and that is my bent lever that I am standing on.

PS - I wasn't the only one to have a slide :roost: But it is not my story to tell.
