Ha Ha try riding on a MX track with no fitness, even if you have previously been fast you will struggle to go slow!! So Muzz get out and practice!

Roll on for the dirt whippin'...
Can someone lend me a pair of YZ/YZF/WRF OEM wheels,
So I can rub it in by doing it on a 4 stroke of the same size (250cc)

Then its a whippin' by an old fart (With recently broken back) on a bike half the power...
Should add up to double the shame. ;)

Forgot about you Jake.
We will have to make a day to go to Broadmeadows so I can whip Sibbo.
Or is he gonna want me to go to his home track for an even more needed advantage?

A bloke who brings his 05 YZ450 up here from Melbourne for shop service at Wasons regularly has seen this banter, Coincedentally the same fella rode every Wednesday afternoon for 4 hours, 1-4pm, with me for years during the 80's at Sibbo's beloved Frankston MX track when it was an infant.
He nearly pissed himself laughing when he read how I would be whipped by a young 'un...
He thought he might get together his mates from around the place to watch. They have all been waiting to see me get a good floggin' but the bets aren't on Sibbo unfortunately.
Many of these blokes have raced against me over the years, some in VMX which was my most recent racing escapade aboard the Montesa.
(They just want to see me get flogged cause they cant do it themselves. )

The conversation went along the lines of,
'Dont you ride in the bush most weekends, Still riding that CR125?'
'Man I had to work to keep up last time...'

I might get the chance here to shatter the masses of young 'uns dreams of being able to whip old fellas, and stick it to my mates at the same time...
This is gonna be good. I might bring the BBQ myself...

When is this whippin match planned for?
I'll be in Oz for a whole 4 weeks from the 18th Dec onwards, and any excuse to go for a ride will be taken up.

dicky.

I only need a couple of days notice to coincide with Jakes wheels and my bike in the same location, or organise to pick them up/meet him at his rosters allowance trackside..
Any time is good for me Dicky, You know how it is, none of this poofta stretching and warming up or practising thing..
Just friggin do it...

You can use my 21/19 if I can't ride but the rubber is a bit old as I have hardly ridden in the last 2.5 years.
I hope I can come out and watch.

Oh yeah, forgot you had a 125 to ride. sorry Sibbo I have to go with Muzz if he's been riding a 125. If you can ride a 125 fast you can ride anything fast. With 250's and bigger you can be lazy (slow) on a 125 you can't! :(

Well well well....who stirred up the hornets nest? You better calm down Muzz, at your age, you dont know what is going to stop working!

As I have just become recreationally enhanced, I have plenty of time to ride.

Before you get all excited for beating a young bub who has never raced, I want to state that I said "I will whoop you at NDMX track" or words to that extent. Which I will do any day of the week. There was no mention of Broady or other tracks. I think I shold be able to run with you at other tracks, but I am not confidant of beating you. I think your fitness would be down and would be more competitive as the day wore on.

I dont check this site as oftin (no net at home and no job to check it at), so I will need a bit of warning. I will have a bit of a think about which weekend will suite me and let you know.

Sibbo mate, I hear you. Fitness is a big issue, but be wary. ;) I had an experience on on bicycles; I'd been riding for months and offered to ride with a guy that use to do tri's. He hadn't ridden for about a year in ernest and was worried about his fitness levels. :?: I soon learnt that when you do something for years, you got some kinda advantage on fitness. Long and short of it, Muzz may be older than you, but he has race cred' and will be a force to reckon with :axe:. We could also bring up that 2 stroke thing again, but you'd know more about the premature syndrome than us old farts can remember.
Regardless of the outcome, I'm sure you two will have a hoot

but be wary
I am always wary of Muzz, he mentions digits and dates all too oftin

Im sure I will have a ball, if the old man is half as good as everyone thinks, I will learn fuggin heaps and become a heaps better rider. I dont care about losing, just as long as I get something out of it.

Well thats a lie....I hate losing

The other thing is, gramps and I cant be the only two riding. Everyone should meake a day of it. Broady will be dry and hardpack and should accomodate motards.

So people.....dates? (Muzz put that digit away  ) I would like mid to late Jan, everyone else?
