Need a pair of the plain generic pads that everyone ditches in favour of the Aprilia race compound pads.
Has anyone pulled some out even if they are worn so I can continue on with my brake upgrade?
I cant buy pads here of course and need a set to do the final fitment of the bracket I have mocked up.
I can order a new set of pads from Dave but its a dud move without the master cylinder and line to go with it yet.
I would rather setup everything else first and then get the right compound pads and new brake line last ...
PM me if you have some you would like to sell ;)
Joe has a couple of sets he was offering cheap before.
Is the LC4 track only now muzz? The race pads mightn't last past a day doing trail riding or street work.

No but the pads will be for track use ;)
Hopefully it will work well enough on the OEM ones as a street application
OEM just needs a bit bigger squeeze, and a bit of time to cool down. I reckon they'll be good, just not for TT.

Thanks Gordon.
You might be kicking yourself come some racing later in the year

Thanks again mate
Much appreciated ;)

No problem Muzz,
Might not be racing for a little while as I am going into hospital tomorrow for a knee operation. Hopefully the recovery will be quick. Meanwhile I will just have to keep polishing my bike to make sure it doesn't lose it's lustre.
The Brembo's on the VDB are brilliant. They were the first thing I noticed when on the bike. Here's to catching up on a race track somewhere in the not too distant future :) :) :)

Heres to you having some hassle free surgery and some hot nurse to tend to you.
Then a few beers on the beach while you recover.
Bugger ;)

Good luck with the chop-chop gordon :)
Hope it all goes well Gordy.
Still got this spin bike here if you want me to drop it around to get some strength back in that leg.

Thanks for all the get wells guys
Surgery went well. I actually walked out of the hospital in less pain than when I went in - AMAZING
If anyone has knee problems and needs a good surgeon, I would highly recommend Mark Richardson, Wesley Hospital (I have his card).
Very different from my last knee op (approximately 25 years ago). This time the nurses only shaved my leg. The last time, the NUNS in the Catholic Hospital in Toowoomba shaved my nuts, dick and anything else they could find in that area. I don't know whose benefit it was for. THEIRS or MINE :D :D :D

Thats the type of knee surgery I would like to have Gordon.
Walk out the same day
Last time,
Drain tubes aplenty the bastards
Dunno about the Nuns though mate,
Had a similar experience at Calvary Hospital getting my ankle reconstructed.
They still needed to see my nuts though
