Hello,

I was wondering anyone had or new of a secondhand/wrecking 2004 Husqvarna SMR450. I had an accident on mine and need to get the top fork tube for it. It has the marzocchi 45mm diameter shiver forks I just need the tube. the gold tube on the forks. it is pretty expensive to buy new and will take four weeks to get here from italy. i'm not sure what year they  started using them but they still use the same ones now.

Dont like your chances of a secondhand one unless you can web search it through the wreckers network.
Try SuperMotoJunkie and post a thread up there, also Ultramotard.

being 45mm rules out a pair of showa/kayaba off ebay or something like that.

What price have you been qouted for the part?

I came into a corner a bit to hot and I locked the back end up and almost made it but i caught some gravel and lost it. I hit the road then went into a creek. not really any other damage apart from the fork and the rear brake and gear selector also very minor cosmetic. I was pissed off after when i discovered I had flat tyres - i was wondering why it was locking up all day. i put some pics on.[img]

Is it mandatory if you ride a Husky to have accidents like that?
Sounds like Ash and a dirt bank last time we all went on the dirt... ;)

husky's don't mind a bit of exploring, but i would like to take a moment to thank my oggy knobs and barkbusters for limiting the damage. this was a road accident not a dirt one.
