Very much like where I ride during the summer Lorenzo.
By the look of the tyres and the string on the edge of both you can come riding with me...

thank you mates,
it's a nice place here around for supermotard, beside they just made some new laws against us motorbikers... one of them is very restrictive agaist wheelies... can you imagine??? they're killing us! another laws punishes if you drive holding the bike with one only hand... so it's like you can't scratch your balls while riding...
by the way: what means KATOOM? I apoligize for my poor english...

So one handed wheelies are off the cards then?

Katoom is our slang word for KTM, having the 3 letters in it.
Also is the noise the 2 stroke ones make, KaToom, Toom, Toom, Ka, Toom.
We too have the laws against bikers Lorenzo, If you do a wheelstand and get caught its called, 'Ride in a manner dangerous to the public' and first offence is usually a court appearance coupled to a long walk and a significantly lower bank balance.
I have been found guilty of this on more than the odd occasion and have been dished out heavy fines and licence cancellations.

:)
the only solution over here is to cover the licence plate with mud or with a large-elastic band which covers the numbers. If they stop you, you can run away and they cannot get your license plate number and if you really have to stop them the fine is only 30 euro for "not readable plate", but no points taken-off and not other consequences. Strange, isn't it? :)
KATOOM sounds nice!
In Italy we slang "KTM" into KAPPONE or KAPPA - Cappone is some kind of turkey - Kappa is the way to pronounce the "K" letter of the alphabeth.
Katoom sounds better tho! ;)
Sibbo: we than have to learn how to wheelie with NO hands as one only is forbidden...

Unfortunately over here having an "incorrectly mounted number plate" is about $100 fine and (more importantly) 3 points (out of a total of 12) on your license.
As I found out the other week :?
Fuggin coppers! :fucku:

Just turn the idle right up and then pop it to balance in first and balance it with no hands while standing on the pegs (it helps to have a pilion peg for this). The pro stunters do easy, so it must be easy....!
While the MX track is closed for a month over summer, I will give it some serious practice....anyone got some spare rear guards?
Wobbly
16-11-2005, 08:30 AM
Can we watch you practice? :snigger:

I have the cut down rear guard made up, the hand guards on standby and will only practice new stuff on the grass. Bike slides and so do I (after I flip it).
If you want to come up to Mansfield sat/sun over mid dec to mid jan, i will be there wheeling my brains out!

I'll be in it if I'm in the country.

Mansfield is just a quick offroad trip with a few heel clickers and knack knacks thrown in along the way from here Sibbo.
Are you bringin' up the YZ for a shaming in offroad as you get 'pantsed' by a 4 stroke 250 motard?

I dont think so....If you could get near me on my mx club track, you would win every seniors race in Aust!
Note: This is a dis to Muz as he is an old fart, not saying I am any good.

I can see a day at Broadmeadows coming up!
Referring to 'my mx club track' is sort of like saying 'I cant see far enough to go fast, I dont know the track, my bike is older than yours, my bum hurts, I have arm pump in the first 5 corners so you just wait for my second wind, my cat is sick and I cant concentrate...
Any other excuses Sibbo?
Good, What day do you want to be beaten then?

Now back on thread Sibbo....
Lorenzo posted pictures of the Alps remember,?

Well well. I have only ridden at Broady once and it costs me $20 bucks more than my club track to ride, as well as the extra 25 mins to get there. I can think of a few more excuses if you like.
If we organise a big group of people to see me whoop ya ass, then I might be able to travel a bit further than usual. It would have to be in december, as I have an assignment to do (there, one more excuse!).
This could be exciting, or very easy, one or the other.

ItalianMotarder

nice to read you fighting about riding, mates :D
very few 2 stokes over here, beside all the young guys with the 125 cc. (they can drive up to 125 cc. at 16 years old) which are almost all 2 stokes, there are some CR250 CR500, and some Huskys, normally is all old stuff motardized... but hell, follow the CR500......

I'm currently working in France, not far from Lyon, so the Alps are certainly within reach. All I need is some sucker to lend me a bike for the weekend and you'll read about me in the papers, I'll go nuts.

Sibbo

Dicky, its called a demo bike. They go faster than the same bike if you buy it and love being abused!

There is a Suzuki dealer nearby, maybe they have something suitable.
If not the latest 'tard then maybe the SV1000?
Pity the weather is worse than a Melbourne winters day, it's wet and fkkn cold.
dicky.
