You might have seen the recently posted pic in the Gallery, (again thanks Neil and insert pic here please...) the European RMZ450 Motard outta the Factory.
There is an Enduro version also fitted with all the necessary lighting to comply there, but the air must be different or something cause we dont see 'em here yet, as usual...
Unless Suzuki sell shit loads of 'em over there coupled to shitloads of DRZ400SM here I suppose.
Still a very limited market but rapidly expanding and therefore expect some rumour of its existance soon from the powers here at Suzuki...
Far be it for me to burst anyones bubble,
But havent Honda still got the XR400 and now a CRF450X too?
Mmmm. :-k
Lets wait and see eh?

Hmm ... does the enduro and SM version have a 5 speed box instead of the MX version's 4? Hope the box is upgraded from the first model RMZ from what I hear as well
Looks tasty though 8)

There are no details to hand as yet mate the release was only intercepted last week and the pics were loaded on the 27th of last month, so still real new stuff to me...
I would assume there has been some upgrade of the gearbox, but if it entails an extra cog... Who knows?
Some stuff I do know is the Enduro has a digital/trailtech style speedo and accessories, and Pirelli Scorpion tyres fitted standard,
And the Supermotard has all those plus the Braking Wave rotor, the black Excell rims, Pirelli Diablo tyres in 150/60-17 and 120/70-17.
Also fitted is the sweet as Leo Vince pipe standard and the Kevlar brake pads. ;)
Prices are Enduro EU8650, Supermotard EU9150
Aussie bucks $13395 and $14740!
In relation to the 4 speed vs. 5 speed argument,
For motard I would prefer the 4 speed as I rode a YZF 450 4 speeder fitted with a slipper in '03 that was a real easy bike to ride real fast!

Depends what your purpose is I guess ... for competition or sunday only use then the 4sp would be fine, but for all round motard use including stints out on the open road then I'd only go with a 5sp minimum - I'd love a 6sp in the drz, which is something the Husky's really allure with... :-k

The yzf's have now all gone with a 5 spd again! They'll all have 6 before long
with the 5 or 6 speed i would almost consider trading the husky for it. it looks rad. thats what honda should have done with their 450. I hope it still looks the same when it comes to oz.

Honda have had the 450 out in Europe as HM Honda CRF450X for 2 years now as factory motards...

Is that made by the same italian mob that released the euro road legal enduro version of the CRF well before the CRF-X?

The air certainly is different... it's bloody cold.
Maybe I should buy one of these toys, pull it to bits and send it back home.
