Chas said he had trouble logging in and thought he posted it. I said I'd do it for him just cos I'm on here all the time.
I found out about it from Pete at the Harley club meeting but then received an email from another mate the other day.
I've spoken to the guy running it and he said it's gonna be great and plans on doing 2 a year if this one goes well.
He also does all kinds of sport specific training and a weekly wednesday night training session for anyone(for a small fee) at St Kilda beach, which I'm probably going to do to supplement my gym training.
If you're interested in fitness this will be an awesome way to improve your riding skills from another angle.
Devo is already at race-weight.

There are Limited places available for a two week intense training course in Spain; riders of all abilities are welcome.
Trainers this year will be Johan Ejdehage , Ola Eifram and Matt Winstanley. Johan and Ola are multiple Swedish Champions and also Matt Winstanley multiple British Champion and grand prix race winner
There will be 3 groups this year classed on speed and ability. Also there are up to 20 UK riders making the trip across and also 20+ Swedish riders. This year there will be a Sm4 class which is an excellent opportunity for young riders to get some serious track time before the 2008 season.

We will be on three-four different tracks , Fortuna , New Fuente Alamo (we are checking) , Finestrat and Villena . RIDERS PREPARING
It is best to have an international licence 2009 in the camp . If you not have licence you need an “extra” to your home-insurance so you can get treatment at private hospital and that you have possibility to go home by airplane if you are in bad condition . You need to show your licence or insurancepapers to the trackowner in Fortuna before training .
It will be two intensive weeks . If you have possibility to physical training at home we suggest you to do it .
FOOD
Riders will get a meal out at the tracks on training days .
BIKES AND SOME PRACTICAL THINGS
We have a good cooperation with dealers in the region where we can order parts .
You need to bring some extra brakepads . A middle to fast rider will use six tyres in two weeks .
We have not electricity on the tracks , if you have an electric generator bring it with you .
You can borrow air-compressor and tools for changing tyre from some swedish rider .
Washing of bikes only at gasoline-stations .
LIVING
The most of us will stay in Banos de Fortuna . There are possibilities to rent houses and apartments . You must pay for your own living .
You can look at www.campingfuente.com .
INSURANCE
You must check that you have insurance for getting threatment in “Private Hospitals” , they are the best hospitals , and that your insurance will give you possibility to go home with airplane if you can not go by car after accident . We know that British riders can get special card from Goverment

Yes Mark ! Sounds crazy but I am actually thinking about going.
Can you rent supermotos ? It would be good to take your own bike but that would cost a lot I would guess.
I might email that bloke to find out some info.
Can you PM me any info you have please Shane, I guess I will have to decide soon and somehow get a small personal loan if I were to go. :)

So there would be starters for a SM Camp I hinted at a few months back :?
Might refresh that thread too.
I just got an email back from the organiser of this racefit camp.
He said if anyone else from QLD is interested he would book us a room together if we wanted and also we could also stay on an extra night or a night before the camp if we wanted to.
Its $100 deposit before Dec 1st to book your spot and $275 before Jan 1st for a total of $375 obviously.
I'm not 100% yet but am thinking it would be good, just a long drive.

It is our money Muzz but this is a whole lot more than just riding around the hills.
Joe if you decide to come let me know and I'll talk to Jake at training next week and sort something out with accomodation.

I do more than ride around the hills on the motard Mark.
I ride an MTB,
I have open access to the local YMCA gymnasium and pool complex,
I circuit train,
I skate and BMX,
Along with general activities that are actively 'fitness enhancing' ..
Cheers all the same ...

Its a lifestyle many seem to envy Ash but find it difficult to live with.
The cost of living is on a par really with the Metro area but fuel is usually dearer and wages much lower.
To get the most out of it you have to be an active and outdoor type person and be happy with what you have on a day to day basis.
Where are you Dave ;)
Just to clarify from the fitness training perspective,
I am a registered nurse by profession,
One trained in the Military to do my job at the extreme end of the scale,
Have a really good knowledge of sports medicine and associated paramedical issues having had experience in these fields dealing with specifically muscular skeletal development in the preventative and rehabilitation post operatively / post trauma.
I have also been involved with the bodybuilding scene at the semi professional level during the 80's and 90's as training 'motivator' in a Nunawading gym.
I have the time and inclination to help others if it means a saving to them overall so posted the original thread about a SM Coaching Day.
Same here,
Time and inclination to help if it is less costly thats all.

Absolutely, country life is all about the outdoors, works hard pay sucks but overall i find it satisfying at the end of the day to know i've done my share. These people who sit in airconditioned offices and reckon they work hard, but thats another can of worms  A lot of my work is physical so i'm usually working out while i'm working, no gymnasiums for me, and on my wage /work, cant afford it/havent got the time  and i dont have to worry about traffic getting to work.

I have done both and for the most part hard labour and I can say they are both tiring but until you've done both you'll never really understand.
I'd love to live in the country but I also want a decent living so for now I stay in the city
