i thought i better get some in with the slicks on for the sydney race ,it was great fun but you really have to commit to the bigger jumps to get enough speed to clear them

Thanks Shane, the drz would likely fly over the jump, its just that I would most likely be going in a completely different direction
Dirt and I have an understanding: It just lays there and I fall down (a lot) :lol2:

You've got a track right in your backyard at GPTC with a dirt section too.
If we had more there for the track days, ,
I am sure Braxton would let the dirt section be upgraded at my expense...

Big differance to over an hour to GPTC. :( But I am a winger and my local MX track is within 30mis of home (on a goor run).

How many hours do you think is acceptable to travel for a track day then Sibbo?
Dedication and love for the sport that keeps me doing the 600km round trips... ;)

Muzz, I am a bit slack and if I am going to be riding on a monthly basis, I dont really want to travel more than 45 mins, as it sort of makes it a chore, as I can ride my jump laden MX track that is only 30 mins away.
I guess I am still too young and dirty to get really serious about grinding my bike away on the road.....give it time!

Those knobbies, are they contintal's? How much? And are they legal?
Muzzard

No they are IRC Volcanduro Enduro tyres, front is a 100/100-17 and rear a 5.60-17.
(The front is of course normally a drive tyre.)
I will be looking at Cheng Shins this time, instead of the Conti's for the price versus wear argument, a 100/90-17 front and a 140/80-17 in C755 print. ;)

Shane, I'm heading over to Thailand in March (Bangkok and Phuket) for a 2 week holiday.. is there anywhere over there I can get some motard stuff for good prices?

Ah, you need to grab a codec then ... it probably says some stuff about error trying to download a new video codec or something similar down near the bottom of the screen right?
Try downloading an all in one pack from here:
http://www.free-codecs.com/Codec_Pack_All_in_1_download.htm
Its about 9mb but contains most of the codecs you need to play divx and all that sort of stuff. Just install it with all the defaults (except turn off the auto update feature, which is the first question it asks during installation). Once you've done that you should be good to go...
This one is even better http://www.toolenduro.com/Media/video/videos/2/stage_franchissement_1.wmv
:) Lots of craziness by a bunch of Frenchmen, including a 2 wheel drive WR450 and a Sherco 450i.
