PS I WILL BE AT EASTERN CREEK ON THE 14TH ON BLACK KTM DUKE AND A HUSKY SMR450 PITED BEHIND GRANDSTAND COME SAY HI

Yeah Gaz, I'm up for it.
I'll be coming out on the 14th too, not to race though.
Maybe this one Sunday soon? (map linky) (http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&saddr=wisemans+ferry,+nsw&daddr=mangrove+mountain,+nsw+to:bucketty,+nsw+to:s t+albans,+nsw+to:wisemans+ferry,+nsw&hl=en&geocode=&mra=ls&sll=-33.292656,151.101837&sspn=0.462032,0.617981&ie=UTF8&ll=-33.292656,151.090164&spn=0.462032,0.617981&z=11)
145km loop, including 35km of dirt.

I'm keen. I've been to the St Alban's pub a few times but have never done the section between St Alban's and Bucketty

If we fuel up at Wisemans, and then at Kulnurra it makes the biggest gap between fuel stops about 80km.
The dirt section between St Alban's and Bucketty is a pretty smooth road (well, smooth for a dirt road). It's fun, I did it a couple of weeks ago.

I can bring a 1L Sigg fuel bottle if you like. I used it a couple of weeks ago. You can see it between the seat and tailbag in this pic:

Only 1L, so it isn't much. But it might be enough to get you to the next stop ;)

That would be choice as 80-85km is about max for me, with the pipes on the SXV there is no where to tie anything down...

I used to occy strap a couple of MSR bottles onto my SXV, they look exactly the same as the one gonzo has in his photo. They stayed on all the way from Sydney to Phillip Island and back last year. Though i have the silmoto system so there are no tips under the fender. They got used a shitload on that trip.

Nah, if I drop the bike and go for a gravel slide - I want to be as far away from the fuel tanks as possible.
