If anyone else has the time off, (or can pull a sickie) let me know.
Sounds like my new bike will see it's first dirt...

Woah! what an epic ride! About 6hrs before we started washing the bikes.
Awesome day, and all I can say is that KTM39 deserves an ironbutt award for sitting on that wooden plank for so long!

Cheers Neil, now I can't decide which one to use!
Nick, rivers are fun, untill you remember your wearing jeans, not nylons. glad I didn't stall or fall off. My super efficient, open airbox was a bit of a worry too, made some funny noises underwater! It wouldn't start afterwards and I thought I'd flooded it, but It was only my catch can full of water not letting the carby breath-phew!

Yeah you could sweat away to nothing! All we would find is a puddle of ktm juice!
Unlike me which would be a LARGE pile of lard!
Well that sounds like an excellent idea the bike spa! Thats it i am going to charge thousands to get the fat bastards to loose weight and i can support my bike habit!:D

I think i might have to throw the 17 inch knobbies on.
Ride bikes, then drink beer and talk shit.

Haven't we already established that I'm a fair-weather-rider?
In Feb, especially out there, it's likely to start at 30oC at 0800 and be 40+ by lunchtime.
I'm too skinny to exercise in a sauna - if I lose much weight, there'd be nothing left.

Actually the flies would have you getting heavier as there would be so many you wouldnt get sunburnt or have any bare skin visible!!
Greeny
11-12-2009, 09:53 AM
If the flys are bad then you really would want someone to bring a KTM out. Keep them away from everyone else.

Yep - 'cause even flies won't get on a Husky, (or a ranga :D).
