Hey Guys,

Heading out to Ippy kart track tomorrow for my first ride on the mighty Pumpkin :D Having never done a motard track day before, just wondering what the proceedures are ... Is it like the trackdays at the paperclip? i.e Sign on, scrutineering and then go out in different groups ?

I must say I'm fairly nervous about the whole thing having spent the last few years going round and round QR. Having more than two left handers is going to be a shock to the system, not to mention ... the whole learning to ride this type of bike thing

Who else is coming out for this one ?

Don't worry mate, by your second corner all those concerns will have gone away :D

Well, went out and had a blast :D Really happy with the new bike, it was awesome! The riding was very different to what I've been used too and it wasnt until the last session that it started to feel comfortable pushing the bike down underneath me instead of hanging off the inside like a road race bike.
Seemed very casually run, no srutineering at all and no ambulance at the track at all
All in all I was happy with how I went for first time out, just need to work on fitness levels a bit as that tight little track is fecken hard work and I was completely worn out after the 5th session.
Cant wait for the next one

I was getting antsy just spectating (I recall doing book work in my head trying to find the funds to buy a shiny red bike).
Paul was just as frustrated... I find "Air Throttling" is amusing to watch.

mxsam - from what I understand its a little unclear at this stage as to when/if there will be a "next" time.

Great to meet some of the others too... was a great arvo.

Apparently it should be back in use in Jan after the resurfacing works have been completed.
