weekday ride anyone??

Patient load is looking light this week so thinking of taking Thursday off to ride. Roads will be quiter and hopefully less cops.

Weather prevailing thinking of heading up to Kingslake or around healesville/Toolanghi.

No mad riding or anything silly, personally just want a nice twisty familiar road to get my confidence back up.

Quick ride report...

Headed up to Toolanghi around midday, nice and warm, clear skies no cops. Saw only a few bikes, mostly cruisers.

Was my first ride in my new Oxtars SM boots, and fortunately by the time i got up there my upshifts were up to 85% success rate.

Myer's creek and chum creek road had a little bit of roadworks going on, but I think it'll be done by the weekend if anyone heads up. Seemed just pruning.

roads were nice and clean and no greasy patches. All in all a good arvo for me, started to get my confidence right back towards the end of my trip, did a few loops, of the above mentioned roads. Managed a few little exit slides before the wrist started to get sore, then watched a couple of logging trucks play chicken with each other and ride the curb as i was trying to get past one.

Though that was a good cue to head home before I end up sandwiched between them..
