Ok, it's time to bite the bullet. Since playing around with motards and with work the way it is, I don't have the time to ride my RSV in the manner in which it was intended  Rather than have it sit around my shed and simply depreciate, have its rubber go hard and basically suffer from neglect, my baby is going up for sale.

It's a 2000/01 model (bought September in 2000) and has had one owner (me) since new. It truely is a beautiful bike and is in immaculate condition. Just had a major service a couple of hundred kilometers ago and so won't need another one for over 7,000k's (next one is a minor service). Serviced religiously by A1 motorcycles in Ringwood since new, with service book to show it. Always treated to the best oil (Motul 5100 fully synth). Chain and sprockets replaced about a year ago with 1 tooth shorter front sprocket for a bit more pep and (coincidently) smoother freeway running.

Asking $12,500, which I think is very reasonable for a bike in this condition. This is a bike which has been ridden and serviced regularly, not something that has sat in a shed and thrashed once in a blue moon on degraded oil  If you're interested either PM me, send me an email (nmspam at iinet dot net dot au - just replace the words with the @ and .'s). Or, alternatively, give me a call on 0419 827 803. Bike is located in Melbourne eastern suburbs.

It's a fairly stock 00 model with the exception of the free mods (de-restricting, EFI chip mod), an Aprilia RSC Factory Titanium muffler. The muffler you see in the pics is an Akropovic, but was replaced with the RSC factory racing titanium one. The bike will also be sold with the original boat anchor standard exhaust, just in case it is needed for any unforseen circumstances (ie. EPA!). It also comes with a ventura rack system fitted, making those longer trips away an easy proposition.

This truely is a beautiful bike, and I'm really just selling it because I can't devote the time to ride it as it deserves to be ridden any more and because I can't justify having that much $$$ tied up in a bike that just isn't being used. :( I've toured all round Victoria on this, including trips up to bright, southern NSW, the GOR etc so it can be successfully toured on and is reasonably comfy - a bit of weight on your wrists, but its not cramped at all and suits larger riders very well.

The only problem I've ever had with it was the clutch slave cylinder seal whch went about 18 months ago and was replaced with the newer design. Apart from that it has an absolutely storming motor which is significantly torquier through the mid-range than TLs, SP1/2s, Ducatis, etc etc - the rotax motors in these things are fairly legendary for being bullet proof and for driving out of turns like a demon. First and second gear wheelies with no clutch aren't a drama, and 3rd quite probably if you have more than no talent at such things (ie. not me! )

More fun that a pod of hampsters down your trunks :D
