View Full Version : Excel rims (no hubs) for jap bike

Easties,

I am converting the KLX650 back to a dirt bike, as having trouble selling the girl as solely motard over here in WA (market is smaller than a gnat).

So I have/will have a set of virtually unmarked excel rims for sale. They are 31 spoke and I have been advised by our guro spoke guy over here that they will fit/all most jap bikes (not just kwaka) except the back wont fit on a XR or CR as these are apparently 32 spoke (bloody honda).
There is even a chance that the spokes may fit as well.

So the rims new are around 750 for the set and 180 for the spokes (i.e. to lace them to my hubs was originally 1100 bux)

I am asking 500 bux. (no inc freight from the west). Plenty more photos and info on ellenbr@bigpond.net.au or PM me

OBVIOUSLY BIKE IS STILL FOR SALE and price is not flat 4K which is good for a bike that even I can get on the advanced grid over here in WA, and is street legal for long motard road rides or commuting.

OOOOppps the rims are 36 spoke, not 31. Why didnt anyone notice.
If the 6 and 1 were close enough on the keyboard I'd claim a typo.

Jake,
The spokes will be KLX/KLR specific and possibly year model too..
Length and head angle is what will determine other fitments ..
