hey everyone just wandering if a group wants to meet up on saturday 6th or sunday 7th for a ride?? any people here interested?? even if we get a small gathering it could be a good day.

it is very late notice so if it doesnt work out this time round, we'll plan one alot further in advance for a decent day out....

so does anyone have any interest for this weekend ???where to meet???where to ride??? :)

GTR

well as long as people are keen ill leave it up to someone else to choose a meeting place and destination. keeping in mind that some of us have small fuel tanks so petrol refills will be required.
it will be my first group ride so ill leave it up to one of you guys to decide

I only have a 9L tank (7 main, 2 res), so stopping every 150km is the norm

I'll find out tomorrow what my schedule is like, but how does this sound:
Meet at Hornsby, down Galston Gorge, Out to Wisemans Ferry, up to Mangrove Mtn, back along the old Pacific Hwy?

what a great run! my version is a little different, i follow the putty then take the first broke turnoff, follow that to broke, turn right and take the twisties to wollombi. great run!

shame to miss it, you would have come past my joint on the way through mcgraths hill though! always hear bikes through the valley.

Tomorrow night I'm going to go for a jaunt.

I'll be starting at around 8pm in Artarmon, heading through Bobbin Head and then upto Road Warriors at Mt White.
From there I will back track to Mt Colah and stop at Maccas for some unhealthy food.

Depending on mood, I might do another lap or retire for the night.

All welcome.

So we met at 10 at a very crowded Mobil at Berowra and after briefly waiting for some guys from the Two Wheels forum that I am on, we hit the old road...
In total we had 5 people from TW, and 2 from here (me included)

Magical day. Great weather, nice noisy new pipe and fresh hotmix!
Uneventful was the run to the end of the Old Pacific Hwy. Don't ask about the black person - I won't answer :-$

While waiting for the rest of the group to show up, we watch a P-plater nearly kill two cyclists. Careless pricks. Looked like they were about 12...
http://www.craighall.info/gallery/d/25029-1/DSCF7599.JPG

We headed up to Wollombi to meet a couple of more people. We stopped here for lunch before continuing on with twisting the wrist.

At the halfway house we had another little rest. Gaz and I lined up together look the part 8-)
http://www.craighall.info/gallery/d/25044-1/DSCF7605.JPG

From here a couple of the Newcastle guys headed back North, while the rest of us headed South toward Windsor.

The lineup at the end of the day.

New pipe sounds 8)

I'd say it needs more air. What tyre pressure are you running? From the looks of that it would be below 25psi
