Thankyou to the VSMR member who has paid the parts invoice for my bike engine to be started...
This was a gratuitous gift/loan from a member who has had a lot of help with his bike over the past 12 months I have known him, and I think is keen to see me on the Mootard again so we can ride together. :)
This member has also been privvy to my business affairs over the last 12 months too, and is aware of the severe shafting I took over the EMS deal, with my products being ripped from underneath me with calculated deception.
Accordingly having lost the earning capacity temporarily, was not in a position to outlay for the parts list, but are now actively seeking another investor to carry the product range, which coincedentally now includes watercraft as in jet skis 700cc up to 5.77M 350Chev/Dehavilland copies fitted into scale replications of the famous 'Shotover River' jet boats of New Zealand. (Pics in the Non Motard album)
All things being good I hope to have the bike mobile again by the Post GP ride.

Off thread a bit but funny,
The same person is a very talented artistic jeweller and I have 30lbs of rough cut and natural opals ready for mounting...
Karma you say Ash, I would call it helping out a mate.
I was brought up by my Grandfather, His ideals were that of helping when you could without expectation of return if it was within your means.
I am always ready to help people Ash you know that. This person also has older parents with similiar views and an amiable 'barter' has been arranged for some assistance towards his jewellery career..
Just 2 mates helping each other achieve some forward movement... ;)

Opals.....hmmmm.....I am after some opal cuff links, what sort of $$ are we talking? I know they range from reasonable to fcuking huge amounts. It would be nice to cut out the dodgy pricks that sell em for huge amounts.

Back into the frame with the completely new engine, (well completely overhauled/reconditioned including a new crankshaft assembly.)
Ran it this afternoon and all good. :D
Many thanks to the Team at Wasons Motorcycles in Wangaratta for the supply and fitting of all the new Yamaha parts.
Special thanks to Garth (Workshop Manager) for the effort to assemble the delicate bits himself,
And to Rick for the time and facilities that were at my disposal. ;)
