Shane you would probably be close second to me in the bike cleanliness stakes,
'Anal' the blokes here say, , But all good mate. Polished is nice :D
I hope Neil is looking at your very nifty chain alignment guides fitted to keep the chain from eating the rim bead ..
Now must ask, does it work sufficently to keep the chain from touching the rim?
I ask as I haven't fitted up that 5.50" sucker yet for fear of rooting a good rim by catching the bead in preference for street at 5.00" and the option of 2 tyre sizes comfortably, 150/60 and 160/60. :-k
Who made up the graphics and seat cover mate?
Ship to good ol' Aus will they? ;)

That is one sweet looking piece of machinery Shane!
I don't know how you blokes find all the time to clean your bikes. I mean, once I get the mandatory 4 hours on the couch drinking beer done with I'm in no state to clean the drz! ;)
What did you make the chain guide out of? How's it holding up?

thanks muzz
i just come in from cleaning it then every time it gets ridden i take all the body work, tank, wheels and brakes all off and go over the whole bike greese it all then give it a little polish .i find its the best way to keep a check on every thing ,nothing worse than the bike breaking down due to a 2 dollar bolt or part being loose.
i got the graphics from www.danger-uk.co.uk i sent them my logos and they did the rest stickers seat the lot they shipped them to thailand so no reason why wouldnt do to oz.
as for my chain guid i got it off a old yamaha wr i think ,since i put it on not one mark in the rim it works perfect

And I see there by Shanes comments regarding the cleanliness, he also shares the same perception regards preventative maintenance as I do, If you clean it each time you use it you have a better chance of having a bike that will give you tireless service each time you get on it.
Also affords the confidence to attack challenges not necessarily suited to motards due to knowing the bike very well and being reliable too.
For instance I would like to ride the Lake Tyrell race next year on my WRF fitted with Conty TKC80's.
(Ash will definitely be at that race day being dirt orientated and aboard the trusty Husky I hope! Would be good publicity for Motard in general to enter a team, Dicky? Ash? Steve?.. Takers? Not unrealistic if you prepare properly)
This is also one of the secrets to having a WRF250 with 37000km on it before build time with no other incidents like swingarm bearings/bushes, headstem bearings, and the likes along the way.. :D

Back on thread,
Shane that is a chain runner ex-WR500 2 stroke about 95 vintage maybe?
If you are confident that the 5.50" will fit the 250 swingarm I will do the 5.50" for the fat tyre for pimpin' street use. :pimp:
