After some testing with Arron Slight on Thursday we made some pretty big suspension changes and nearly have the bikes dialed in perfect.

Race day and the clouds were not looking good, luckly the weather held off and it was coolish most of the day.

For the first time I qualified well and had a front row start for the all powers heat race, coming home in 5th place.

The Expert races were combined with the Pro races and it made the racing more interesting, fighting with Simmon Goodchild more often than not for the class win was exciting whilest fending off some very sprited riders. Simmon managed to hold me off in the first two races but in the 3rd my brain clicked and I managed to get pass for the win !

The All powers finals go down in my books as mmy favorite races ever.

In the First race I fought it out , finishing up in 7th place with tyre marks all over my swing arm and seat/side panels , close racing doesnt do it justice but lets just say I had to use elbows to make room.

In the last race of the day I pushed harder than ever and tried for 6 laps straight to get past Micheal Avard inside, outside any where but he rode smart and i could not get past so I crossed the line in 3rd place with a best time of .5 second (a lap) slow than winner Mark Avard.

I had a great day and the smile is still ear to ear , can't wait for the Tennis Centre.

( I Have added some pics in the gallery but dont know how to link them)

I was going to head up and watch but the look of the weather in Nowra put me off.

By the look of the pics, the rain held off.

Nice pictures there Hamish.

Would be nice to be capturing them off a video, shot from a helmet cam,
Get the best of both worlds then mate... ;)
