If anyone knows of a cheap TC450 or other aftermarket (pro circuit, leo, yoshi, arrow, etc) slip on then let me know :)

Debating whether to re-core the stock one, buy something like a barrett for $500 or not bother at all :D

I believe the only difference between yours and the MX can is the end cap Neil.

R & D Husky sell aftermarket end caps to suit the stock husky can.

Alternatly you can cut carefully cut the weld around the hole on the outlet and this will get rid of the restrictive tube thing attached to the end cap.
Have a look at Thumper Talk i believe there is a cople posts on how to do it.

I thought you had an aftermarket exhaust on your bike Neil?

Motostrano have some listed if you can handle the high level of customer service!

Not on my SMR450 :D

Just found some posts on SMJ and others with some photos...

Wouldn't mind doing this on a spare pipe of course, in case anyone has a stocker :)

Motostrano - Akra Ti full system $900 ish, you know you want to.

I've hear the akra's aren't very good though, not a significant increase in throughput .... and besides, MS are a pack of wankers :P

Akra quote a 4bhp increase in the midrange for the full system, it made my Husky a bit punchier (is that a real word?)

MS do have some customer service issues but I have never had a problem with them - Admittedly they have been shipping goods to me in the US not AU.

Randal @ Road Rocket might be able to help you with an Arrow or Leo-Vince can, I'm pretty sure he stocks both brands.

Called husky and they don't do a replacement core or end cap any more :(

Where's the drill and the drop saw? :D

That's a bummer Neil! Ithink it was the guy on SMJ (Eric Landstrom) who said he got a 4hp increase through the mid on his 510 with just the core. The stoke pipe is pretty choked up.
