Hey all,

I have a friend who runs dirt speedway sidecars, who has asked me if I can find him some used rubber in 150-160 rear sizes.

I think they usually run wets (at about 10psi so it sits flat on the dirt) but Ill consider anything ex motard as he doesnt have many options at the moment.

If youve got anything, even of its shagged, let me know - for the dirt speedway they dont worry too much about the condition.

Thanks, Chris

I've got a couple of fairly used 150/60 rears - one is a pilot sport the other a gpr70, both down to the wear indicators in the centre from many miles of commuting. Welcome to them for free of course, I'll just have to find something else to balance my beer on in the shed :lol2:

Yeah Ash,
I have ridden a lot of speedway as a younger fella, that and short circuit which has both left and right hand corners.
Most of my early competition was in either MX or one of the other disciplines on the alternate weekends.
As an expert rider (as classed then) used to ride the Melbourne Show Demonstrations on the Thursday night.
This is why I ask in reference the 17" wheels.
Most sidecars will run 19" rims and Speedway GP tyres as a control.
The most recent was setting up to swing for Rick on the FZR sidecar, Although was then so selfish, I went and broke my back.
I have been out of the Speedway loop for a while now but can make a few enquiries next 'Legends Dinner' if you really want to kill or mame yourself that bad!.

Have had a lot of sidecar experience in the Off Road events though, but MX sidecar derivatives.
