Pete,
Do you happen to know if they will fit into a DRZ250 of current years?
Anyone know off the top of the head?

Can you measure the hub width just from the alloy outermost edge please Pete,
So I can assess for fitment to a CR125 with crush tube and wheel bearing/spacer replacement...
Neil, Maybe you could help there too mate. You know what I'm thinking seeing I have 'Little Red Riding Helmet' in my pocket :?: ...

Ok maybe anticipated lack of use.......ive actually done 14000kms in the 6months ive had them.

Spending more time on the dirt now and no longer need a bike to commute on

Ill measure the hub today.....

A Honda....................... Geez man are you sick!

Yikes

What size are the CR axels? The talon hub kit for the drz runs an insert tube that runs the whole length of the hub with the bearings a commensurately larger diameter, rather than running the axel directly on the inner race and just having a tube internal to the hub to keep the bearings from any lateral movement.

The DRZ runs a 17mm axel (front and rear), so you could potentially have any axel size up to 20-24mm depending on what other bearings you can get a hold of running the same OD but diff IDs...

Cal, you'd better hurry up here mate!

C'Mon Cal
How much incentive do we have to give you then?

Yeah, I know of the crush tube fitting in the Talon hubs thats why I asked about the overall width. I figured a change of bearings and tube and bingo! ;)

Ash could keep count of how many times Sibbo and I can pass The Wobbling Black Beast in a fifteen minute session.
Stop him from getting bored as he wouldn't have much else to do if he went to a bike track :D

Oh, I want them Muzz, no question about it, but cashflow is a little tight right now. If they are still up for sale a bit later on, then i'll be all over them like a rash. Anyone wanna buy an '02 954 FireBlade? Only ridden by a grandma to church on Sundays? ;)

Wobbly

Someone needs to buy Cal's blade - its in beautiful nick and has been lovingly fondled over the years :)

Flash

You let me down guys.... no comments like sounds like Ashes bike, or maybe Ash should let the granny out on his bike so it gets a run!
You guys really are full of suprises

Muzzard
19-09-2005, 09:38 PM
OK Ash,
Cal,
When I have finished test riding your lovingly fondled Blade and convinced a mate to buy it, I'm heading over to Ash's place to take his bike for a spin, do stoppies, wheelstands, and all the other things Ash would do if he rode his bike with us once in a while.

(I say this very tongue in cheek as my own bike needs pedals at the moment  ...)

If you keep hanging round here David, You end up with a reputation for something ..
And Neil has the DRZ stakes tied up with, Most Black, Most tinkered, Most ridden in the rain, Most Grubby, Most slippery and hard to stay on, and Most Loud! =D>
Let it be the Gixxer with the Renthals  ..
