Hey all,

I have just been chatting to Muzz and he said I should run this by you...

B Components is having a display at this years MotoGP Expo mid October. Up until this morning I was going to display a current R6 (which is the spare bike of a young guy running national superstock). But as the team owner just rang me to tell me they have to pull out, I am on the hunt for another bike.

Im looking for a current (or late model) all black track bike, to be used as a display on my stand at the GP Expo. I will need the bike for the week leading up to the GP too, to allow prep time (application of custom vinyl work etc).

Any thoughts coming to mind? Any ideas, contact, etc would be greatly appreciated...

Chris

I just had another thought chris - I do have a supermono which is just sitting around doing nothing, but it would need some prep work. Its totally unpainted at the moment, so would need an undercoat and a layer or two of black on the plain fibreglass and raw sandblasted tank.

It's not exactly pristine, and the rhs footpeg does show some gravel rash  but its otherwise complete and just sitting in my shed. It's based on a 91 RS250 Honda and has 97 (?) model bodywork fitted up to it. if you have some bling bling rearsets you want to show off and don't mind spending a couple of bucks on paint (which doesn't have to be perfect) that might be the ticket.

Here's a pics of what I'm talking about:

If you want to paint it in your garage Neil, I can do it. I have the gun compressor etc just need a place and some paints.

My place isn't too condusive to painting I'm afraid - what with a kdx with its guts hanging out and shit everywhere  What we need is a nice new, large garage :D

I got an almost empty one here, a bit too large at the moment,
So I can do it up here for you and collect the fairings this weekend at the trackday, return them next week. ;)

Also,
If anyone would like to store race cars, bikes etc for regular use at Winton without the towing up and down the highway, let me know
Shed is secure, with security monitoring, and 120' x50' so large vehicles also OK...

Ok, sounds like a plan - are you going to swing down by my place initially? I'm a bit 50/50 for saturday because of something big going down at work (was working all last weekend, not sure about this) ... or I could just drive up and drop them off and take off back home again if I can't stick around...

I can swing by your place Saturday evening/night mate.
Tanias father is in Blackburn Nth, and no doubt I will see my daughter as well so just as easy while I'm doing the rounds... ;)
