Kangaroo Valley. Wattamolla road.Jamberoo mountain Road. We can easily make it one huge lap, plenty of corners, only a few straight stretches. Need to plan fuel stops on the motards. I get 120-150 out of my 7 litre tank. With the long range tank no worries.

obviously got to watch the cold roads at this time of year. Been a bit of debris around too with the winds lately.

Blue Mountains then over to bells line down through Weeny creek and Pattersons ridge fire trail then out to Lithgow and do Scenic Hill, Hartley pass,Victoria Pass and if you get time veer off for a quick blast down Jenolan Caves road and back.Trust me you will enjoy sticking it to sports bikes at most of these places.

Sun probly suits me best. Lets meet at Albion Park Macca's at 10. Gives us both time to get there and let the roads warm up a bit. I will try and talk a mate or two into coming along.

Done. Got a couple of friends who will come. I am using the term friends very loosely, they are at least willing to ride with me. They are not tarders but guys who are always keen for a run. One with a Superduke and the other on a 250 Hornet.

No worries, worked well getting the other blokes together for a run. We will just start a bit later. Let the roads dry a bit before we get out there.
Didn't you know the other day you couldn't get the bike? :?:

We went for a ride today anyway. Left Nowra at about midday. Headed up thru Kangaroo Valley, there were heaps of bikes at The Friendly Inn in town. My mate on the 250 Hornet lost the front end in a damp corner. No serious damage to the bike and none to him except his ego luckily. After a bit of lever straightening we headed thru to Robertson for a pie. Overtook a group of Harley's on the way, one of them started waving their arms about and carrying on. When we were stopped at an intersection waiting for a mate they went past and that same rider gave us the finger, so we took off and blew by them again. Eating our pies at Robbo we saw them again. We had a chat as I usually do, the guy who had been riding tail end charlie said he had seen us waiting to go by and had moved across to give us room but the chick further up the pack hadn't moved over. She was nice as pie when I spoke to her but said she didn't like people going up the inside. We weren't pushing hard and had waited for a good spot on an open bend, I would have done the same to any slow truck.
From there we had a good run down and back up Maquarie Pass and then back thru the Valley with a quick stop for a beer on the way home.
It was great to get out for a ride with some good mates.
