Bullshit is what it is.
The business that I've been cultivating over the past 4 years now needs more fucking equipment to keep up with the latest trends. I've sunk masses into it and it really shits me that the only thing that keeps me sane is the first thing that has to go.
So, here it is.
'04 Yamaha WR 450.
DEP Pipe. YZ timing mod. Fully serviced by Moorooka Yamaha. Never raced dammit.
You can have the RGV wheels that I bought that haven't as yet been modified.
It's only done, I dunno, 4,500 kms I can't remember.
I bought it new for $13K.
What's it worth now?
Who wants it?
You could e-mail me here 'cos I log on each day, or phone me on (07) 5463 2020 or fax me on (07) 5463 4600.
I hate this.

You gotta be in it to win it.
Trying to look at the positive side. If everything works then in 6 months to a year I'll get me one of them orange 640 sm thingies that felt soooo good when I bought the Yammie, and a Yam 450 for dirt! and a secretary...and an accountant.....and someone else to do the work while I'm off playing on my bikes or getting back into filming.
Who knows.

Hey Muzz,
Sorry to take a while to reply, I've had gremlins on the 'puter and gettin' me.
I realise that I had too much on it before. I bought it new in '04 for $14,000 and so was hoping for $10 - 11k but had nae takers. So I've become more realistic and am now asking $8,500.
To me that seems a ridiculous amount to drop but I guess that's life.
I was just out on it on Sunday on a local loop. God it's a good bike.
Cheers.

That's the problem with motards though - they always sell for far less than the sum of the components :(
I reckon you'd be best of sticking the dirty stuff back on and selling it as a normal WR, then hocking the tard gear on ebay or through the trader

The bike is in original dirt mode. Motard stuff is separate.
The going rate would still only be about $8,500.
Why do we buy new eh?

Would still be a good buy for someone Scozz,
Not much consolation, but the new owner will get a well looked after bike wont he and you will know you aint screwed him ;) ...

True
I may be naive but I gotta be honest. Anything else just doesn't sit well.
