Sorry guys i let the team down ,first DNF of the year :( .
I thought today was going to be a good one after morning practice with the new wheels .the 16.5 front is the only way to go great feedback NO patter and turns on a dime .the 5.5 rear took a little getting used to but once that was done i could really get on the gas early ,but it was a little harder to control the back on the way in ,but a little less brake fixed that.
For the race i got the hole shot ,but the new rear tire was sliding around for the first 2 laps {needed to scrub it in better} then i started to pull a gap all going well at this point on lap 4 i lost the front in 3 out of 5 corners,i guy in second closed the gap ,i was not sure what was going on lap 5 a came into a 3 gear right hander and the front tucked under big time ,saved it still not sure how then 2 corners before the start finish staight i realised i front tire was going flat .so i put my hand up and pulled off

Dang! Well, at least you realised it before it caused you to crash ... could have had a hefty repair bill to go along as well. There's always next round of course
Dang, Shane, well you will get them next round! Your leathers look good.

Shane, I am an ex-serviceman and have a few mates who used the spare time found through service life starting during the early 80's to current day that have always been serious about size.
I lived with one of them for a few years off and on, and used to attend his training sessions regularly as I was a medic in the Army and had considerable sports medicine type training and he wanted someone to talk to and help him keep the motivation sometimes.
So your reputation has well and truly preceeded you long before either of us considered motard and the web...
Your wife has also over the years, (Not implying age mind you) cut a healthy profile through out the body building world.
Haven't you both held multiple titles in your respective classes at the highest level?
I do not have the mental determination to achieve the results that some can, let alone the fact I have to run around in the shower now to get wet!...
If I shed 23kgs I would be invisible...

your right muzz the mental part of the training was by far the toughest ,but that is why i liked it so much ,to be on a bodybuilding diet for 20weeks is one of the hardest things you can ever do,the only reason i started training was after 3 years racing the 250GP i was broke and owed the bank a shit load of cash.i needed something to keep my mind off the bikes .and i did ok never made that much money out of it but been round the word 4-5 times all paid for ,i normaly never say what i have won unless some one asks just tell them my web site address ,but over the years i was 4 times mr australia and mr universe my wife has been 2 times miss australia ,3x miss world and runner up miss universe in figure fitness so she was never one of those big ugly beast that looks like a bloke.
i have been lucky over the years i have got to work with a lot of our country's best athletes and teams from the olympics to wimbelton so it was and great experence .but no where near the fun of backing in the motard

I do understand the diet side of it too as Glenn was fanatical about his intake, and used to be on the cold cooked spuds outta the lunch box with all sorts of other 'uneatable by volumes' he would have stuffed in there.
Then there were the suppliments and timing of these too. He trained 6 days per week for around 3 hours per day after work.
He is big now with 20 years of weights behind him but is driven still to be bigger...

Yeah skinny boy! I'll have to work on you to develop a true 'manly' physique  an intensive curry and lager diet couple with being chained to a couch for a few years should do the trick ;)
<pats manly stomache>

Now you can see why I say his reputation and that also of his lovely wife has preceeded them Rook ...
I have seen pictures of Shane throughout competition in many muscle mags here in Australia before... ;)
Just because I'm skinny doesnt mean I dont have diverse interests and in fact watch Muscle TV weekly on Aurora CTV.
By the way, When was the last time you heard me grizzle about arm pump and other motorcycle orientated disorders?
You wont, because although I might be skinny to you, I aint that piss weak!...

I did gym for 12 months to get over a short coming in Down hill mtb. but other wise the only training I did was cycling. Until my neck started playing up with it but that was 500-800 km's a week takes up a bit of time!! Never been like you Shane!! Huge!!! Sorry "Sir"
