Devo informed me today the Aus Supermoto round in QLD will be in Early June. My dilema is i have ridden twice this year then did my wrist. I will have 2 practices prior to the race. The new bike feels awesome and I have an excellent set-up.

I was around 5 secs a lap faster first time out on the bike than husky and felt great. I also know the track fairly well. I will be fairly underdone and i think the pace is a bit higher in novice in the AUS rounds.

Should I enter??????????

Hell yeah!

Hey if it all goes to plan I will be entering the Vic round of the Champs and that will be the first time i have ever raced, unless I can get to something before that.

Better to have a go and come last than be one of those wankers sitting on the fence telling everyone how good they are and how they would have won.

Yeah mate I reckon you may as well.
I hope to do it, I haven't been on the track yet though so I will have to get out there for a test, not much time till the 1st round.

Will they have the info on the sporties website when it comes around?

Yep, all the info will be on the sporties page. Dates are already up, and next practice is on the 24th.

I wouldn't worry Jov, gotta jump in asap.

I'm just nervous about being slower on the new bike.

Your is a CRF - R isn't it? If so you obviously don't commute. If you have the cash go for it!!

If you have the bike and the cash the only thing you will have if you don't give it a go is regret.

DO IT!

Do some practice days and take it easy the first few times, don't be trying to break lap records (or wrists).

I have respect for anyone that gets out there and gives it a go.

plus, you've already got the gear.

Do you have other pressing plans for early June ? If your worried about practice start riding it's not early June yet! Do you really want to live the rest of your life pondering what coulda happened that fine Aussie early June???
