Impressive. That Porsche is bloody fast.
Anyone know any German speakers?
Would be nice to understand what they were saying.

Husky beat the porsche over a short tight course, 16 point something seconds to 17 point something :)

My wife speaks and read German, I'll get the low down. To be fair to the porsche the track wasn't fair. Should compare the motard to a 250 super kart on the same track.

Yep. With a dirt section. ;)

Actually I'm surprised the car wasn't quicker - normally cars are faster on tight, high G corners than bikes. Put a straight in the way and on an open class bike (ok, not a motard then  ) the bike will hose anything this side of 600hp...

Yes your right Neil. But it's only an advantage to a point, then the radius for the car gets far too tight because the car is wide and bike has more room to move and can straight line corners more.

Of course the bike will beat the Big Volksy.
Cars are for window lickers...

Put a car with the same power to wieght as a bike up against each other and see who wins. Cars handle bikes don't.

I know in the 90's (can't remember when) Yamaha built engines for tyrell F1 and they did an after season comp 500GP vs F1. F1 won by a rediculous margin.

I hear that mate.

You working late mate?

Finding a car with the same power/weight as a bike is the kicker of course. The design of a car inherently makes it better at cornering, but also heavier to build. Another religious war anyone? ;)

Shit yeah Neil, Why you up for crucifixion?

Husky 115kg's 85ps
Porsche 390hp carrera cup car
According to the driver the track was too tight and he was only able to use first gear and once 2nd for a very short time.
Hardly a fair comparison! The porsche would be a pig to drive in first gear on such a tight track.
Either way my bike won or the car I want to own won. I was going to win either way :D

And... Cars are for 'window lickers'....

Wobbly

Yeah, but on a straight the bike would have pulled away as it had a power/weight ratio of about 1.35kg per hp, versus probably around 3kg per hp assuming the car comes in around 1200kg ;) :poke:

On the straight the bike would of course pull away, while the driver adjusts his saliva glands...
Friggin' cars, Who cares if the car beats the bike anyway, Wait til he stops for fuel and bash him for it...
