Hey fellas, one of the blokes out in WA has his KLX650 mootang up for sale - $4300 including dirt wheels! This could be an awesome deal for someone who wants to get into motard riding. The bike has been raced but is fully road legal and is plated, so should have no dramas getting it registered

See the add on the supermotowa site >>> HERE (http://www.jaxian.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=436&highlight=&sid=b5db324eea0f597fec4b105d5d025503) <<<

Certainly would be a good bike as entry level motard, cheap and well set up... ;)

Fellas,
Small corrections (but much gratitude for posting the bike)

The bike is up for $4250 (hardly worth correcting)
But it is currently road registered so no need to worry bout that (unless there is some weird Eastern States thing you blokes have to worry about)
There are no dirt rims, only the bands, as the 17s are lace to the origy hubs (trust me this is a better commuting bike/race bike than ever it was an enduro - not sur what kawasaki were thinking)
I am only the second owner
Much of the non modified gear is unmarked.

Muzz is right - I can put this bike on the grid with our advanced riders if I push it hard enough. The low down grunt and huge engine braking make it a awesome learner motard bike cause it is easy as to back it right in.

Cheers
Mitch

There was some dirt kicking going on at South Morang last week when I told Hamp the bike was for sale and in the West..
He just came back from there...

Muzz,

A step up on the rear sprocket and he could have ridden it home.
My old man lives south of perth and has for quite a few years.

I have ridden a Gixer 11, a Duc 900ss and the KLX down south to his place and you can guess which one was the biggest grinner to ride.

That is what I love about the bike, it does/will do everything pretty darn well for the money.

Mind you, it was only the KLX where I didnt have the girlfriend throwing out the set up.
