I had a chance to ride the first Sherco Supermoto in the country the other day. 450 injected !
It is a little bit hard to be fair getting off my race bike , setup for me , how I like it and on to an new bike with 300km , standard pipe and now that I think about it standard every thing.
The thing started first hit and ran very smooth. Whisper quiet with the enduro muffler installed. The motor feels like an electric motor, no hit any were and the smoothest single I have ever riden. The suspension is to soft even for road use and the importer is looking at uping the springs on future models. The Sherco feels very very small and has a Euro type riding position, imagine that.
Over all it would be a weapon in the bush and a fantastic road bike. For racing some work would need to be done with a full system and some tunning of the FI , revalved suspension etc. It is hard to say if the 450i will put out engough power or not to be competetive. Saying that my CRF has a lot done to it, to be fair.
