Look left, under Main Menu, down 5 items: Gallery.

Right click it and open it up in a new window/tab so you can still read this.

Choose the most suitable home gallery for your image.

Over in the right hand corner is a single arrow and like a double one, just like on your DVD remote. Choose the 'double' one to go to the end of that gallery.

Over on the right again is a little pull down box that says 'admin options'
Click it down and select 'add photos'

A popup box appears so be wary if you have a popup blocker on and have not added VSMR as a safe site.

Browse for your image/images and upload them.

Once uploaded the gallery should refresh, if it does not then hit refresh on your browser or hit F5.

Click on the image you wish to post in a thread.

If the image is large you will get a sized version first or if you click on the sized image you will get the full size image. It's prefered you post sized images in threads as it's easier to view.

Right click on the image and go to properties.

Copy the image location which is an internet address at VSMR where the image has just been uploaded.

Go to the post.
Click on the image (IMG) tag at the top of this post window
Paste the URL you just copied from the image properties page
Close the image tag by clicking (IMG) above.

It should look like this:
http://vsmr.net/albums/bitsnbobs/thisisanexample.jpg
Without the space before and after the link.

Done.

Does anyone have any constructive criticism on this tute that would make it easier for new members to understand?

After this is refined it will be locked and stickied and cleaned up for the newbies. ;)

this is for pictures from your computer, browse for your images is just that, when you click browse it will bring up "my documents" folder and you can find the pic on your computer where ever you may store them :D

That is what I am talking about, you upload the saved images from your computer.

If the pic is on a website then right click that pic, go properties and then copy and paste the photo URL between two image tags.

Phil go here (http://www.vsmr.net/modules.php?set_albumName=ktm&op=modload&name=Gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php) 1st, then look for the admin option drop down menu, which is next to the slideshow button.
